Have you wanted to “try” Facebook ads for your school but have no idea where to start?
Or have you even considered paying to reach a bigger audience? Maybe you think that advertising is just for businesses – you wouldn’t use it for your school!
Well, Facebook has dramatically changed its Facebook algorithm over the past four years. What this means for pages like your school’s Facebook presence is that fewer people are seeing the posts you make.
Now some parents are going to make sure to tune in no matter what, because they know you are sharing great information – but what about the parents who don’t yet have kids at your school? Or what about getting news out about a referendum or bond issue to your community who don’t even have kids that attend your school?
If the thought of learning yet ANOTHER aspect to social media freaks you out, you are not alone. It scares me too! I’ve been doing social media for over 3 years and I have yet to master this skill.
So what do I do when I need help? I ask a pro. And this time, I turned to my friend Shane Haggerty.
He has assured me that it is easier than you think! Now, I’m not going to dive into the specifics of Facebook ads in this week’s blog. Instead I’m going to invite you to an online training event. Shane is a featured speaker and his talk on Facebook Advertising will help you:
- Discover the various types of advertising solutions that are available utilizing Facebook ads
- Learn more about the targeting tools available on Facebook’s ad platform and why it is important
- Learn from actual case studies of Facebook advertising best practices from various school districts, including examples of school election issues and enrollment campaigns
